About Braveheart...

WE BELIEVE:

Every child is able to compete and reach the goals they once thought were beyond them. We have worked with hundreds of children of all fitness levels, and have learned fun and active tools to harness self confidence. We have found that the eight core empowerment principles we selected together create a unique and powerful curriculum, one which combines physical health with strength of character.

Our program is constantly evolving and now includes several

training programs!

Our yoga classes are customized to each age group/interest/theme! During our time together, the kids will practice mindful movement, breath work, and playful, strength building postures!

Through all of it, the children are reminded that they are strong, powerful, respectful, and can go out into the world with a BRAVE HEART.

The Core Empowerment Principles of Braveheart

Power of Positivity

How we think and talk about ourselves defines who we are, for better or worse.

Aggressive Goals

We dare to believe anything is possible, with the right plan and hard work.

Personal Resilience

Setbacks are simply an opportunity to grow.

Teamwork

We can do together what we cannot do alone.

Community Vision

We exist in relation to others, and go farther together! Group runs add so much value for a variety of reasons.

New Beginnings

A finish line is just the beginning of a new journey.

Meet Our Team!

We take great pride in the bonds we create with our runners. Our goal is to have the kids as excited to meet each week as we are!

Coach Sarah

Club Founder

Sarah is the founder and head coach of Braveheart Run Club! She began teaching yoga in 2013, and incorporated childrens yoga the following year. When life turned upside-down in early 2020, Sarah took a good hard look at her life and decided to pursue a new adventure. Adapting a curriculum from a run club in Miami, Braveheart began to run in yards, parks, and schools around Severna Park, Annapolis, Harwood, Catonsville, Ellicott City, Sykesville, and Pasadena! She additionally earned her RRCA Run Coach Certification in early 2022.

She resides in Severna Park with her husband, three children, and 2 dogs. They enjoy travel, being outside, and keeping active every day!
